I just can't believe you keep coming up with these. It makes my eyes bug out. Seriously. For years, NO American Production Library from the 1970s ever turns up on any blog or network.
Lots of these to be found among record-dealers in the US, only they aren't listed as sound-library/production music.. just gotta be be patient and dig through the often strange labelling and rather concentrate on the composers. When appearing on for instance Ebay, they usually fetch high prices, though. But no need for that :)
I own a few Media Music records and some other American library stuff. I also did have access to Media's master tape archive at one point (now owned by OGM music inc).
What your doing here is amazing keeping alot of this great music alive and unearthed at the same time.
Though, me personally am not a fan of the ambient/electronic stuff..I go for the lounge/orchestrated easy, sleaze, funk and disco based library material.
Thanks for your efforts and keep up the great work!
I've been listening to the stuff at ogmmusic.com, lots of amazing music hidden away there. Cutting edge webdesign aswell by Mr.Internet, lol.. And yep, I have the record featuring Compact Contact, it's on Sci-Tech, nr 54 in the series. Stay tuned for that one :)
porno, i just sent you a test email to make sure it works. then i'll send my first of many to come donations to this great place.
my first "dontation" will be a compilation of media music material from late 70s through very early 80s that i hand picked and professionaly mastered myself from the original master tapes about 5 years ago.
