It is incredible to think that Teddy Lasry also made Action Painting in the same year as they are such different albums - and also in this year, as a very young school kid, I was unknowingly listening to him play triangle on the Manège track, as a young Teddy was part of Structures Sonores group and that track was the theme for a school TV programme called Picture Box - a theme which everyone of a certain age here in the UK is haunted by...
It's actually Teddy Lasry 'fever' in the library music related blogging world as the wonderful Progressreview blog has also been posting some rare as rocking horse shit Teddy Lasry albums as well - the library/prog/electronic/experimental gods are certainly smiling upon us blog followers this month!
For anyone wondering about the Picture Box theme, here it is:
Whoops, library faux pas, before anyone beats me to it - I was of course referring to the Action Printing album by TL - despite it being my favourite Teddy Lasry album, my addled brain has it recorded as 'Action Painting' - not enough neurons left to re-imprint I guess!
