[KPM] - Tony Hymas - Face To Face

KPM - kpm 1313 - Tony Hymas - Face To Face

80s librarymusic is hit and miss. Digital synths were the sign of the times, often resulting in flat and cold sounding music, atleast to my ears. Throw in some flamboyant arrangements, and, voila... the creepy side of the 80s emerges. My shelf is full of those, and upon listening to this one, I was certain I had another one on my hands. Fortunately, two tracks save the day; The Challenge and Future Time. Don't let the rest scare you off.

  2. Was rather surprised when hearing "Going Nowhere" as it was used in the late 80s as the theme tune to BBC 1's daytime snore-fest "Five To Eleven"!

  3. I definitely recognize "Newsline (A)": it was used as a newscast theme by KCOP, a TV station in Los Angeles, in 1985 or thereabouts.
