Wow! Never heard of this guy or this label ever before...Professional Sound Recordings...Was it a Library Music label or an independent one? As obscure as it seems it is nevertheless a fascinating object and a very welcome addition to your already outstanding sound library archive. Thank you!
Not sure where else I could post this... but it's worth a shot; I'm looking for Standard Music Library ESL120 'COMEDY'... anyone know where I might find this gem?
Very interesting album...looks like a private pressing as the only reference to Gunther Olesch and the grand sounding "Professional Sound Recordings" label is this release...makes me wonder if Gunther Olesch is a pseudonym as the music is very accomplished and it is hard to believe the artist only made one record...there was a bit of a tradition of German kosmischesque artists recording albums under assumed names.
Definitely an album that needs to be listened to as a whole I think and as the background music to a erm..entheogenic experiment,it was sublime.
I had this album in the early nineties... and would love to have it again as I lost the MC. Now would like it on CD or MP3. Any chance to get it somewhere?
